Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

4 cups cooked and diced chicken breasts
2 cans cream of chicken soup
8 oz sour cream
2 cups ham chunks
2 cups grated Monterey jack cheese
bread crumbs

Mix everything together except bread crumbs. Pour into freezer casserole dish. Sprinkle bread crumbs over top of casserole. Label and freeze. When thawed, bake uncovered at 350 for 40 minutes until bubbly. Serve over rice.

I make this and freeze it and pull it out whenever someone in the ward has a baby or is in need of a dinner. It is a nice dinner to take to a family.

Hey, do you think I could use cheddar cheese instead? Or would it affect the taste too much? Let me know...I think I'd like to try this one!

I have actually used a couple different cheeses with it and I think cheddar would be just fine!

Okay, so "un-prepared me" thought I had bread crumbs when I went to make this recipe and I didn't. So, I just used ritz cracker crumbs. It turned out great! Yummy recipe! Definitely comfort food!
