French Toast Casserole

1 loaf French bread cut into 1 inch cubes
8 eggs
3 Cups milk
4 tsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla
¼ tsp salt

Topping:
2 TBS butter
3 TBS sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
Maple syrup

Place bread cubes in greased 9x13 baking dish. In mixing bowl beat eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Remove from fridge 30 minutes prior to baking. Dot with butter. Combine sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over top. Cover with foil and bake @350 for 50-60 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes. Serve with syrup.

My family loves this and it is great when having company and you can put it together the night before and serve everyone in the morning.
